Safeguarding

Safeguarding and Welfare

Manchester Digital and Pathways CIC are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all Grad Recharge participants, staff, volunteers and guest speakers. We expect everyone involved in the programme to follow this commitment at all times.

Our aim is to create a safe, healthy and inclusive learning and working environment, whether you are taking part in workshops, coaching, online activity or work experience. We want everyone to feel respected and supported, and to be safe from harm.

Manchester Digital has a responsibility to make sure that employees, contractors, volunteers and guest speakers understand their safeguarding duties and take appropriate action to protect children, adults at risk and other vulnerable groups.

British Values

Throughout Grad Recharge we expect everyone to uphold the following British values:

These values should be reflected in how we work and learn together on the programme.

If you feel worried or unsafe

If at any point during the programme you feel uncomfortable or concerned about something that is said or done, or about the behaviour of any adult or participant, please speak to us.

No issue is too small. If something does not feel right, we want to know so that we can support you and, where needed, take action.
