Reporting a safeguarding or welfare concern

If you experience or witness anything that causes you concern in relation to safeguarding or Prevent, please report it as soon as you can.

When you raise a concern:

• We will listen to you and take your concern seriously.
• We can provide support for you and, where appropriate, signpost or refer to other services.
• We will make decisions based on keeping you and others safe. Sometimes this may mean sharing information with partner organisations, but we will explain this to you wherever possible.

If you believe there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or someone else, call 999.

How to report a concern

You can report a concern in any of the following ways:

• Speak to a member of the Grad Recharge team during a session.
• Email the dedicated safeguarding inbox: [email protected]
• Contact your key worker on 0161 238 8642 or by email at [email protected] / [email protected]

You can also raise a concern on behalf of someone else if you are worried about them.

We would always rather you raised a concern and it turned out to be nothing, than keep quiet and risk someone coming to harm.
